The passion for traditional and authentic homemade cooking and baking
Our work as pizza chefs and bakers began over 20 years ago in Lecce, a beautiful and historic city located in the Salento region, the "heel' of the Italian boot. We have since worked beside master bakers and "pizzaioli" and have developed our skills, professional experience and the right passion for the traditional flavours and recipes the rural Salento region has to offer.

Nothing is artificial. Our promise is to enclose in all our products the typical and authentic taste of the Italian homemade cooking and baking. Genuine, with the same taste as always.
​
We only use typical Italian flours for our pizza dough and breads, together with our traditional homemade sauce, mozzarella Fior di Latte and a selection of fresh local ingredients.
​
Our pizzas and breads are traditionally hand-made, hand-stretched and baked directly on the stone of the woodfired oven, which will give our products that unique rustic and smoky flavour.

Once you have confirmed the booking with The Rustic Oven for your event, all you need to do is sit back, relax and enjoy the company of your family, friends and guests.

We arrive at least 30 minutes before the scheduled start time, with our wood-fired oven professionally mounted on a custom-made trailer as well as the necessary equipment and all the ingredients.
​
We begin our service with delicious and appetising entrees once your guests arrive. Our experienced and friendly pizza chefs will then start serving a variety of satisfying and flavourful mains in an "ALL YOU CAN EAT" style.
Once all your guests are full and ready to tempt their sweet tooth, we can then move onto our warm and indulgent desserts. What better way to finish a party!
